GONE TOO SOON!
The AP has compiled AUDIO of some of Tim Russert's most memorable moments on 'Meet the Press.'
He was never a "gotcha" journalist. He was well prepared and expected people to tell him the truth. He never forgot his humble roots and never turned his back on his family or friends.His death reminds us all to live life to the fullest. I will miss watching him on Sunday mornings.
He inspired me to always prepare for an interview. Some times folks tell me when I break a story "oh you got lucky." I believe luck is earned by preparation and there was no one better prepared than Russert on a Sunday morning interview.
